German Newtec takes over assets and the activities of the Benelux water disinfection company Ecodis

Newtec Umwelttechnik (“Newtec”), a German company specialised in water disinfection, acquires assets and the activities from stock listed Ecodis NV in liquidation (“Ecodis”) and reinforces its European market leadership in electrolytic water disinfection.

The water disinfection company appoints Johan Milliau as its new CEO.
SCHOTEN, 15th December 2008 – Ecodis (Alternext: ECOD), the Benelux technology company specialized in environmentally sound water disinfection has today announced that it has 
appointed Johan Milliau as Chief Executive Officer. Johan Milliau (41, engineer) takes over the duties of Carmen Cordier, who as a board member temporarily assumed the role of CEO. In his role as CEO Milliau will lead all strategic and operational activities of the company and report to the Board of Directors.
The Board has observed slower growth, a trend which could continue for some time. Restructuring took place both by immediately integrating the newly acquired A-engineering and by reducing costs and the total number of staff members.

Ecodis takes over A-Engineering N.V.
SCHOTEN, 20th November 2008 – Ecodis (Alternext: ECOD), the Benelux technology company specializing in environmentally friendly water disinfection, has taken over all the shares of A-Engineering against an issue of 475,000 new stocks. In doing so Ecodis has increased its product portfolio and can from now on cooperate with the German company Newtec Umwelttechnik GmbH (“Newtec”), a leading specialist in the field of environmentally friendly water disinfection.
